Here is my current setup:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory

However when I try to enable XMP Profile 1 for my Vengeance memory in the BIOS, save changes, and restart, some very interesting things happen.  The computer appears to reset 4+ times in quick succession, flashing through POST codes on the readout, failing, and instantly attempting to boot again, and eventually a BIOS message box tells me that the computer cannot boot due to bad BIOS settings and that it has been reverted to default.

I would really like to take advantage of the high speed memory, but I can't seem to enable the profile at all, and the default is 1200MHz.

The XMP profile also appears to change the "RAM Timings"  could this be the issue?
