Hey once i build my gaming pc last year i had some problems with it because it black screened after an hours of gameplay then i asked on different forums and found the solution that i should disable pci express gen. 3 and active gen. 2 instead and have done it ever since. and it never black screened me again 

 

Now i ask you guys if there is some official release from the manufacturer to fix this or should i just ignore that i have changed it to pci express gen 2 

 

Pc specs:

Mobo: Asus p8z77-v

GPU: gigabyte gtx 680 windoforce 3x 

cpu i5 3570k

psu ax 750

cooler: h100

Is the bios updated on the mb?
