this is what they said about cpm, "You also don’t have a fix rate CPM! You will not be stuck at $2 flat CPM, everyday it’ll go up and down with the highest being up to $6-8"

That's bullshit don't do it, CPM is the only thing that matters in a partnership, everything else is just a veneer to distract from the bottom line IMO, if they won't nail down a CPM then I'd not accept the contract.

Try to shop around, there are lots of networks, go and look to see what the viewspermnth/subs requirements are and mail them, don't take this one just because someone has offered you a deal.

Also, find youtubers similar in size to yourself who have those things in the description saying "i'm with fullscreen/whoever, for a partnership click here" then message them and ask how they are being treated by their network.

If you weren't uploading gameplay you could use the Google $2cpm, they see this and want to bend you over.

I'm pretty sure that Fullscreen is 80/20. You're the 80. I'd check them out if I were you.

That probably means you also have to pay taxes.

The union for gamers network for example has a 90/10 revenue split, but they also require you to pay 30% in taxes because they are based in the US, so it ends up being 60/40.

If you pay taxes personally it depends on your income level. It's not always 30%, and if you have IRA's, stocks, housing or other 'business expenses' it can be less than 30%. It's always better to take all the money you can get then do the taxes yourself when it comes to YouTube, who knows if that partnership is actually paying the government.

I got accepted into union for gamers. I have all their forms in my inbox, one of them being an IRS form taking 30% of your youtube moneys.

Well if you got into a good one then that's always better. Either way you can end up paying less (or sometimes more) than 30% if you file yourself.

I ended up going with Freedom! which is based in Hong kong (I think?), so it means you don't have to pay any taxes on your earnings. I'll probably butcher it if I try to explain it, it's all on their website.

In the US, you have to pay taxes on your earnings if you make more than like $9,000. (That could possibly be a lower number, I don't pay taxes yet).
