bottlenecking. I hate the word. what you should ask is if your framerates will be CPU bound or GPU bound. if you think your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU, then your framerates are CPU bound. if you think your GPU is bottlenecking your CPU, then your framerates are GPU bound(usually the case)

we should all stop using the word bottleneck because it gives the idea the something is being held back, when the case is really that something is ALWAYS held back. that's the nature of things.

Bottlenecking is a perfectly fine word to describe the phenomenon. However, it is utterly pointless to talk about without context.

I haven't been here long, but this question gets recycled quite allot here.

first yes it is getting "bottle necked"

second don't get an A8-3500k (thats not a cpu) but get the 760k its the a8 but without the graphics inside so you will have a descrete card anyways it sounds like.

 

A8-3500k its not a CPU must have a typo I googled it
