Hello LTT.

My new GTX 780 arrived today, installation went well. It says under specs that it can drive 4 monitors, But i have plugged in 2 monitors to the DVI ports, 1 to the Displayport and one HDMI.

The problem is that it won't detect the HDMI monitor. What do i do to get it working like it obviously should? :)

When the DP is used along with the other two it wont allow a HDMI connection.

Use a DP splitter and both DVIs. It should allow that.

Unplug the HDMI and use a splitter on other ports.

But won't the splitter just make the image be duplicated? I want it to be extended. :P

wat.

You use the splitter coming from the GPU to connect two monitors. DP has the bandwidth to carry two video streams. So i'm pretty sure you'll be able to extend it.

Nice, what splitters do you recommend then? I'm clearly out of the game not knowing the simplest things here. :D
