Laptop for school.

cammil334

Hey all. I'm going to school for software engineering and I am having a hard time finding a laptop, notebook....whatever the hell we call them these days. My classes mainly consist of writing programs in java, the variants of C, web design, databases, and writing a bunch of reports and papers, for now anyway. I've been stuck using our computers at the school and my desktop at home and I want something a bit more portable. Besides my normal classes I have access to Adobe and Autodesk programs that are for our Game Design students which I use for personal projects. I want something that will last through my few years of school but wont break the bank. Something in the 400 to 800 range I think. Any suggestions? Thanks!
