Logitech G430 Help

SpaceSquid

So all of a sudden my logitech g430's mic stops working and there is a buzzing sound coming from the headphones. But when I disconnect the mic cord from the USB adapter that came with the headset the noise is gone.

It's not defective. I tried it on my laptop and the buzzing sound is still there if it's plugged in but it dissapears if it's on battery
