Adobe premiere alternative?

Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

I just need something that is "good enough" and fast, not going to be doing heavy editing (I'm a graphic designer, but I work with stills) Would you recommend Vegas over Lightworks?

Vegas.

Right here, one time purchase, fully legit copy, no need to crack. Very affordable price.

EDIT-nvm sold out

vegas is worth it though.

Hey everyone,

So my adobe premiere licence has expired recently, and because I barely take advantages of its many features I've decided to save me some money and not renew the subscription.

So I came here for your help, do know/have experience with any decent video editing software (preferably free).

Thank you for reading and I appreciate any feedback (:

Sony Vegas, but it isn't free and is inferior to Premiere if you use CUDA acceleration.

Okay i guess vegas is the way to go then, I don't really mind the price, at least its cheaper than the 200 dollars per year that adobe makes you pay for their stuff. Thanks

It is, and it's a shame that people have to pay that price for this kind of software. But that stuff really is meant to be used by professionals, where large companies will pay for this yearly fee.
