Multiple fan plugs?

Go to solution Solved by Rorgash,

strange mobo :/ usually has atleast 2-3 other fan headers, anyhow, its a fan controller or a fan header splitter you need :)

Alright...please excuse that fact that this is probably a dumb question but this is my first PC / PC build  :

I'm interested in possibly using some more fans to cool my pc but my motherboard only has two plugs for fans (1 CPU and 1 exhaust fan at the back). Is there a way I can connect more fans (possibly by a fan controller ) without having to buy a new motherboard?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Again, sorry for the stupid question.

Just buy a fin splitter, they are like 2/5 bucks and it just allows you to plu 1, 2 or more in 1 fan header

Something like this will split one header for two fans, and It'll even do PWM control on both.

If you're looking to get more that two fans on one header, I'd recommend a splitter with a Molex power connector, like this one

That's the usual count for a Mini-ITX board, but it may be a lower-end ATX board too.

Wouldn't that Molex connector run the fans at 100% all the time?
