Can't Return from Standby

Go to solution Solved by tuberolector,

I figured it out.

For some reason, unlike with my 7950, my 760 doesn't like to be run along with the iGPU in my 4790k.

Once I moved my second monitor from the iGPU to my graphics card, it started working.

Earlier today, I discovered that one of the fans on my graphics card had died, so I removed that graphics card and replaced it with my other until I can get it fixed.

Ever since I swapped the cards, whenever my computer display turns off after an extended period of inactivity, I have to restart the computer to get it to come back.

I removed all the old drivers and ran "Display Driver Uninstaller," but it still won't work.

The original GPU was a Radeon 7950 and the replacement is a GTX 760.

Also, in the power settings menu, my computer is set to never hibernate, sleep, or hybrid sleep.
