logitech g502 question

so this is my first time buying  a gaming mouse. but i have a problem. no game in my library would let me bind keys to the g7 and g8 programmable buttons. i installed the G software and everything. but there isnt any game that lets me bind functions to them.

 

here is the button placements. the side (g4, g5  ,and sniper) buttons all work in game

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

You can bind the buttons to functions in the driver, maybe they're bound to something else.

they dont work when assigned or unassigned to anything
