Dell N5010 Laptop problem

Spider Man

so at first we thought it was a bad HDD becasue I could get past the bios and windows would try and start. so we replaced the HDD but then it wouldnt start up. I would press the power button and the LED light on the bottom left would blink once and it wouldnt start like as if it were shorting out somewhere. any help?

i don't get screen plugged in, unless you have hooked the laptop to a external monitor, if you hooked it up and it doesn't show anything then it's the graphics on the laptop might be the problem. I had this problem on my old hp laptop so i replaced it.

I ment that I tool the laptop apart and pluged back in the screen.
