Hey Ya'll

I want to upgrade to a new socket
and i would like your opinion on my build

i have seasonic 500 80+ bronze
HIS hd 6950 with accelero xtreme 7970
asus xonar dg
nzxt source 210 elite case

sold my mobo and cpu and ram (p5ql-epu + q9550 + 8gb kingston ram)

getting
asus p8z68-v lx (90$)
i5 3570 non k version (for 160$)

and kingston hyper x 1600 8gb (2x4gb) -- for 70$)
ocz agility 3 120gb (for 80$)

what do you think so far
i heard you could enable trim through a modded bios
and pci-e 3 is not important and i have dedicated controller for usb3

biggest question is the ivy cpu works good with z68
(planning on getting sandy bridge k version later on 2500k 2600k or 2700k)

wait for haswell if you can.

why upgrade to 2500k? the 3570 is newer.

so you're saying that a non oc'd 3570 would be better than an oc'd 2500k or 2600k?
