hi everyone, im kind leaning towards micro atx now cuz theyre cheap and pretty close to atx mobo performance.

is this a good mobo for i5 ? 

im no OC person so thats fine. mostly gaming, no video or anything.

both link are AM3+ board

 

but the Gigabyte have know issues with overheating VRMs even with heatsinks on them

 

pick the Asus 

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
