Hi, I've been playing lots of free to play games for years now, but my gaming pc just arrived last weekend and I'm not familiar of how to buy pc games because I usually play free games because my old pc doesn't have the capability to play new games. So if I'm going to buy this game where should I buy them? and if I got hard copy of the game, do I need to put the cd when playing? like in console?

This is the game that I'm going to buy

Crysis 3

Battlefield 4

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

SimCity

Watchdog

Need for Speed Rivals

Buy them on steam or origin

I think all the games you listed are on origin.

Steam for most things, origin is probably where you'll find most EA games.

For older games you can check out GOG.com, and you can also take a look on the humble store, which focuses more on indie games then AAAs, but they do have some.

Normandy - Intel Core i5 3470, 8 GB Corsair Vengenace LP, EVGA GTX 960 SSC, Gigabyte GA-Z77M-D3H-MVP, WD Blue 1 TB, Seagate 320 GB (steam), Seagate 320 GB (experimental, second OS, etc), Windows 8.1 + Ubuntu 14.10

Garrus - HP Stream 11

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by loose your account. If you mean someone else get's access to it, steam has 2 factor by default, which should help prevent that. Not sure about origin however.

thanks, last question, if I buy this game in origin/steam. do I always need to login to origin/steam to play this game? or if I download it. there will be a game launcher or i will only play it in steam?

It will launch origin/steam when the game launches.

You will have to, you can set steam/origin to auto login when it loads to at least make it a bit more transparent, but they will open up when you start the game.

You could play your games in "Offline Mode" where you are still launching from Steam, but there isn't the interaction between Steam and the game.  For instance, when you play a game when you are logged into Steam, you will earn achievements and things throughout the game that will be accounted for in your Steam account.  Offline mode they won't (at least I am pretty sure).
