Hey guys! I'm in the process of completing the items needed for my build, and I'm open for changes.

This PC will be used mainly for gaming and some Lightroom edits, imports/exports.

I almost have everything except for the MOBO, RAM & GPU.

I already have some components in my check-out cart but still looking for possible changes because right now the 'theme' of the build is red because of the components I've looked at but would rather have a blue themed build.

Would anyone kindly suggest some other components I could look at that could 'replace' the RAM and MOBO. (better aesthetics, features & performance)

By the way, I chose a z97 mobo for when the broadwell comes out, but I already have a 4670k. Chose the RAM because it blends well with the theme/mobo. (don't like the looks on corsair vengence)

As for the GPU, I'm going to take a Palit GeForce GTX 770 2gb Jetstream.

I live in Italy, so some parts could not be available here, just a heads up!  :)

Thanks in advance! Good day!

I have the same CPU and GPU and they are fine for gaming, I can play most games in high to ultra settings with no problems.  For memory I use 16G of G. Skill 14900 but 8 G will do fine.

Hope you know the GPU is black and gold/bronze look.

Change the 770 to a 290. Change the 4670k to a 4690k

Already have the CPU. And I'm holding back for broadwell, so no use going devils canyon now. radeon 290 is kinda out of budget,

What is your budget for the build, what do you have in hand already, do you need peripherals, OS or monitor?

already have the peripherals on my old pc, i'm just upgrading the rig

Already have

Case Corsair 760t

PSU   Corsair RM 850

CPU   i5 4670k

HDD WD blue 1t

SSD  Samsung Evo 840 250gb

All of those mobos i've seen already.  :(

Overpriced RAM, and hyperx fury has blue also

Price  :( and compatibility(?)<--- no idea on AMD stuff

Yeah, I think I can look past that since I won't be looking at the pc from the bottom  :D

My first choice was the Gigabyte gtx 770, but they don't make waterblocks for them and the Palit card has higher clock speeds

When I mentioned water block for the GPU, i'm just thinking ahead, not yet gonna WC the GPU. Maybe 1-2yrs time lol

If its in your budget try getting the 4gb GPU, it will help over all, but if its to expensive the 2gb one should be fine.

So why did you ask for blue mobo suggestions?

The Fury memory you linked is DDR3-1600 CAS 10 which is not optimal. At least get http://www.amazon.it/HyperX-Memory-Memorie-Pezzi-Rosso/dp/B00J8E9014/ref=pd_sim_sbs_pc_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1FAT4DEJ7RM61XZS5QCH which I believe is the same cost but has better latency.

Not sure what you are saying about compatibility of AMD gpu. I am not aware of any compatibility issues unique to AMD.

Will It be worth it in the long run?

What will be the obvious advantage i can get with the 4gb? will be playing fps, mmorpg's and some moba's with a little bit of Lightroom here and there.

yes I asked for mobo suggestions. But I also ask for  (better aestheticsfeatures & performance:)

I've read that it is better to get the 1600mhz version of rams? please correct me.

I just thought that the radeon cards are only compatible with amd. i guess i'm wrong, so wrong

The main advantage will be less lag in games, and if you run multi monitor or high res monitor you will be able to play games with likely the FPS will not drop below 60, but as I said I have the 2gb version and I play on a 2560 x 1080p monitor at ultra with most games with no problem.

All z97 motherboards have similar performance. You asked a blue theme yet it seems that you really prefer red & black.

Better memory is a matter of lower latency. DDR3-1866 CAS 10 has performance very similar to DDR3-1600 CAS 9. So either would be ok. DDR3-1600 CAS 10 will perform worse.
