i5 4670k safe temps?

hello when i oc my 4670k to 4.3 Ghz with 1.220 volts it gets to like the lower 80. is that safe and can i push i even further? i have a h100i

the lower 80 with a h100i? I didn't pass 70  75 at 1.34v with a kuhler h20 650

But yes you can push it slightly further

Everything below 100°C is safe. 

I wouldn't go above 85°C for daily use though.

but it doesn't go near 80C in daily use it's only when i run intel burn test?

Yes 80'c is safe. the i5-4670K is rated upto 100'c. BUT at around 82 to 85'c the cpu will throttle down and start running at slower speeds or turn off 1 to 3 off it's cores. if it thinks it's getting to hot. I personally try and keep mien under 70 if i can just so i know it will never throttle on me.

The CPU will not throttle down below 100°C. That's something else throttling it, maybe parts of the motherboard like VRM's or something.

It depends what you do for daily use, just watch the temps when running the most cpu-intensive game/program you use

I've got my 4670k with the h100i cooler on 4.7Ghz at 3.5V which works fine around 80-83°C. So you can easily overclock a bit higher.

Sorry...sorry...sorrry.... I always make the mistake of not putting a 1.xxx in the front of the voltage. I obviously meant 1.350V. Please don't overclock to 3.5V
