Yeah so birthday's coming up. Which would be the best choice here? The nvidia shield or the shield tablet (16gb)?

If you like/need tablets and plan to use console mode a lot then the tablet!

 

If you are looking for a portable game device to take on the go the shield handheld is better (the one I currently have)

Awesome, if you do not need the portability then it makes more sense as its new and more powerful with a better display

Yeah, console mode also comes really handy for me. I can't find how long the battery lasts though
