2000's rap?

I was like between the ages of 6-10 and the local radio stations at the time played mostly ballad rock (chevelle, staind, etc) with lyrics that were deep and empathic but heavy like post-grunge but if there's any genre I remember the most it's the rap music. 

Snoop, Eminem. Souljia Slim, Juvenile, Lil Scrappy, Too $hort, Ying Yang Twins, etc etc. 

Am I the only one who listens to this? I didn't understand the lyrics at the time to these songs but now i know and i don't care as it hits hard and makes my room shake.

I do. I was saying that when I was younger and innocent I wasn't able to even process the explicitness in them. Now I do and don't care :3
