best fan setup

mvitkun

I currently have 3 120MM fans in my case and 1 140MM fan as well as 2 62MM fans in the side panels.

the above shows how it was, though since I've moved the front panel fan, which is identical to the one on the top of the case, to the bottom of the case next to the power supply and changed the front panel fan to a COUGAR CF-V14S.

the front panel fan is an intake.

the bottom fan is an intake

.

the top fan is an exhaust.

the rear fan is an exhaust.

I was just wondering if reversing the fans would make a difference in airflow, and if so which fans to reverse.

Yea like Helltech said its find plus if you put the bottom fan beside the psu as an intake, you wouldn't get as much air in unless your case has a high clearance between the floor and your case...

it has about 3/4" to 1" clearance,so I'm not worried about that, and it's on my desk so there's nothing to to block the airflow beneath it.

As heat rises, it's best to keep the fans how they are as they will provide the most efficient airflow.

what kind of temperatures are you seeing under load? airdeano

gaming and rendering I see around 74C max with a ~22C ambient with an overclock of 4ghz on my 2500k

I more so want to improve my airflow because I'm changing my heatsink on my graphics card to the accelero twin turbo and since it allows the hot air to escape into the case I'm worried it may raise the temp of the processor.
