will my old mouse and keyboard work with my new mobo?

Asus M5A97

I have a old keyboard and mouse that I will upgrade soon I'm asking if it will work with my new motherboard the keyboard is a Dell L100 and mouse is a Compaq mouse that says USB CPQ no idea what that last part means I totally suck when it comes to this area of computers so I appreciate the help

As long as it's USB, it works. Even PS/2 will still be supported.

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

Yep, there shouldn't be any problems using any mouse or keyboard you want..

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems
