Mbps (megaBIT per sec) is not the same as megabyte (MB)

Divide mb by 8, thats how maby MB you will get

Thats why when you get a service package of 50/50 your max download/upload speed is really ~6 megabytes

I know about megabit vs byte but when i do the speed test i get 9-10 megabit per second but when i download games its 3-5 megabits per second

 

BTW i have att uverse at 45mbps with isp throttling

i have 25 down and origin caps at the same.
It is origin side, and it speeds up when you are downloading a beta game vs a full title. Nothing you can do.

as reartype said, origin and most other downloaders show speed in MegaByte
