Hey guys,

You are probably familiar with that case from Corsair, so i just wanna ask about the hard drive installation.

In my case it is a difficult situation. I wanna watercool a CPU and a GPU, and for that i need 2 dual 240 or 280 radiators. In order to have a 280mm rad on the front, I've got to remove the drive cage, leaving me with 2, 2.5-inch SSD mounts on the back of the motherboard tray. I will easily put 1 ssd and 1 2.5" hard drive in them, but:

1. There will almost be NO airflow passing through them

2. HDD will be mounted vertically, which i dont usually see them around that way...

In that case, will the hdd performance or lifespan be affected by this?

Is there another case where i can mount that hdd to get somekind of airflow?

For SSDs there is almost no need for airflow as they don't have anything to generate heat. As for HDDs, you can easily fit 2 or even 3 3.5'' HDDs to 5.25 mounts. Just get converters or converter box for them.
