My ssd boot drive died recently died and now i have a new ssd and i have loaded windows on to it and know i need to connect my 2 tb storage drive that has all my Steam games and other large programs on it and i am not 100% sure how to do it.  Is it as simple as plugging it in or do i have to do something special.  I really cannot afford to format it because replacing all that was on it would more than max out my Internets stupid data cap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just plug it in. You may need to reinstall some programs if they had config files on windows drive. Steam just need to be reinstalled and to shown where games are located.
