Hi, yesterday i pick up form store a new EK Supermacy Clean Nickel CSQ, when i tried to install it i notice that the intel backplate has no threds in the holes for the screws,

the amd backplate was fine but since my cpu is Intel i was unable to mount it.

Today i pass in the store and they are also suprised  made the therds for the holes and all worked fine.

But still i am very disappointed with the situation because for the value of this block, for me is not cheap, this shouldn't be happening.

I am also curious if this happened to anyone else? or if i am alone on this...

Sorry for my bad English, but i felt i should share this.

That is odd. First complaint like this I've heard. Maybe the plate fell off the production line and this wasn't caught in QC as it's quite a hard thing to spot.

Not totally uncommon, all manu's drop the ball occasionally.

Use EK's service request system for a replacement.
