I like the OP's choice for a motherboard even if he has to pay a little more to get it.  As for the R9 280 good choice if you don't care about physX and gaming the way it is meant to be but I would not go with MSI as they can't be trusted.  In regards to the Toshiba 2 TB hard drive I guess if I can go with a Seagate someone can take a chance with a Toshiba.  The psu .. awesome choice.  The cooler and cpu are fine too.

OP good luck with your build and enjoy it!

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

his motherboard has a 2 more usb3's but lacks features like better onboard sound (yeah i know) and better ethernet (again i know..) but if you've ever seen a black and yellow themed build (or black and red or something) ....with a blue motherboard, it ruins it...

I tried msi after being an xfx fanboy (then asus) for years, they're great and love them now the gamign series is great and in my build would suit it well.

I didnt trust toshiba i was an amd fanboy (then seagate) and have tried 3 of the same 2tb drives in a friends build i made, then my missus and then my own, they're all rocking so far :D (actually trying to find out why i need 1800+gb of space)

so if you actually want to know who you can trust i can vouch for all them, EVERY company has some dead products and as linus has said before it those who scream the loudest that get heard, people only write stories about their WD hard drive dying, not about thier wd hard drive that still works.....
