word of advice

never put a FX6300 on a 760G mobo

pick a 970 chipset board like the Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3

I plan on building my first gaming PC and my buget is in the $750 to $800 price range and I want to play demanding games like BF4 at ultra setting 1080p relatively smoothly. This is what I have so far...

And the Case: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811139041

O.S.: windows 8.1

Can you please tell me if you think this is good for what I plan on doing. Also if you have any Recommend differnt builds or parts for my price range please tell me about it as well.

Motherboard link is broken fyi.

Call me crazy but I think personally I would get a Athlon 760k and like a $50 motherboard and then get a 290 rather than a fx6300 and r9 280 (non x). The idea of buying into a dead chipset/socket just doesn't make much sense to me when you don't have to.

Really? Do you not think that the Athlon wouldn't boodle-neck the GPU? Also that would fit my budget?

And what do you mean dead chipset. I know I probably sound like an idiot but this is my fist time getting into PC gaming.

This is the best build money can buy for $800.  If you live near a Microcenter, even better, should drop the price by another $40 because of CPU + Mobo Bundle.  That i5 price is for an in-store Microcenter purchase, if you don't live near a Microcenter, you can price match using NCIX, Staples, or Frys.com.

AMD is pushing FM2+ socket

there won't be another AM3+ chip or mobo coming until 2016 or 2017

Yeah but the OS would be another 100$ unless I use steam but I head that is hard to download and there isn't much support for it gameing wise.

Windows 8.1 for $35

Follow the directions carefully.  As far as I understand, you have to pay for it, download it to a BLANK USB Drive and when you get your new PC, install the OS through your USB drive.  If you don't own a large enough USB Drive, you can find a 32GB one for $10 on Newegg with free shipping.

So the Athlon would fit that socket?

it fits the FX6300

Athlon uses FM2 or FM2+ boards

but better pick a FM2+ board as the next gen AMD chips are FM2+

That's weird you would think that it would use the newest hardware for the upcoming chips. Or at least I think it is the newest since it says AM3 is one more than two.

AM3+ is a old socket already

FM2+ is the latest socket

and the AMD roadmap shows all APUs coming up and PS4 and Xbone One are using APUs too

so yea FM2+ is the way forward

support for PCI-E 3.0, M.2 SSD and many more

And what do you mean dead chipset. I know I probably sound like an idiot but this is my fist time getting into PC gaming.

I won't, just because it is a low end chip doesn't mean it is slow. It is a highly clocked, updated quad core cpu. The reason it is so cheap is because it has the APU bit of silicon soldered off and if you look at the price of the A10 6800k which is the same cpu except it has the APU it is a $150 chip. And by dead chipset I mean that there aren't going to be any new cpu's coming out for 990fx or the AM3+ socket so there is going to be really no upgrade path available for that. Where as if you get a decent fm2+ board AMD already has a new Athlon on its way built on the latest Kaveri architecture.

Also the 760k will be able to hit around 4.3Ghz on average with stock cooler which is always nice, and if you get a decent cooler and a good a88x board (which I know would defeat the point because it would cost as much as 6300 route) you can take them up to 5Ghz.
