My esc key keeps getting stuck exiting me out of programs and deleting things I type, this has gone on long enough and when I get my new keyboard shipping I will try to fix this.

How do I fix this ?!

Sometimes it will all of a sudden start spamming the key and it takes a good few hard presses to stop it from doing so. Thanks

Did you spill anything on the switch? Paul (Paul's Hardware) has a tutorial on cleaning a mechanical keyboard.

No, nothing was spilled on it, the keyboard came with the exc key being very sensitive, it felt like 1g of force to activate it. Now slowly it has changed into getting stuck. They keycap isn't going down all the way when it starts spamming either. Worst of both problems.

this is why most people use tissue or a sock.

You could always replace the one switch.

Why would I waste a perfectly good sock to clean my keyboard? Replacing the switch is probably what I'll have to do as it doesn't have a warranty any more.
