My friend wants a Gaming/Editing PC for $750

Bit8xPr0

So my friend is looking to buy a PC and he told me $600 and I said you could do a lot better for $750 so he said okay. Can you guys think of something in mind including Operating System? Whatever performs the best.

280 is quite faster then a 270X. The CX750 is a better quality PSU then the CX500 since it's from a different OEM, and it also provides more power for possible future crossfire setup.

lol I'm curious to where the money was spent here. The I3 is worse then the 8320 right? and a lower watt psu and a R9 270. Hmm. Oh it has a SSD hmm

The i3-4150 is less powerful than an FX-8320, but not as much as one might think when it comes to games. For most games the gpu is what determines system performance. Take a look at BF4 cpu benchmarks, with the same gpu an i3-3220 is within 1 fps of an FX-8350.

The ssd makes a system much more responsive when browsing and doing general work. It also makes games load much quicker.

pcpartpikcer says the system will draw 278W. Anything more than 430W might be considered excessive.

Note the inclusion of a Windows license. Savings could be realized by going with one of the online options mentioned elsewhere.
