Bad FPS in BF4

Go to solution Solved by jakegg6,

The last patch has brought back rubber banding, FPS drops and a few other things.

DICE has both admitted there is a problem in the patch and they are working on finding what it is and blaming customers as usual.

The DICE guy in that thread will blame you in one post and then admit blame in another.

Some people like myself are forced to play on LOW to get playable framerates.

I've been flip flopping from Ultra to low everytime a new patch comes out.

But my FPS doesn't change if i change from low to high i only notice a difference with in like 5 Fps

Hey guys i have just started to play BF4 again since there has been more DLC and to my surprise i have been getting really bad FPS with my GtX 780 3gb PNY card.

I get around 45 FPS no matter what setting i put it on and im super confused i used to get around 90- 70 on high  settings

Temps:

Not running Bf4 31 degrees celsius

Running the game on high settings  60 degree celsius

No Clocks

What does Usage mean ?

And im running a  Amd 8350

What do you mean no clocks? What are the clocks of your card?

Usage is exactly what it says, how much of the card is being used.

I dunno, it's different for everybody,  Some lucky people don't have any problems, or at least anything they notice.

It's the massive amount of hardware/Software/Driver configurations available on PC that makes nailing these things down hard.

Even people with GTX780's are having FPS issues, it's not always about power, just the combinations of hardware, software and drivers

the luck of the draw.

Because your CPU is the bottleneck here, not the GPU. The 8350 can only receive so much info at one time and give it to the GPU so no matter what settings you will be getting the same FPS. At least that is how I understand it. It is the same for me.
