HELP!!!!

HELP!!! I just turned on my desktop and it I got a BSOD. After restoring it windows booted incredably slow along with everthing else. I checked the task manager and it said it was uding 100% of 255 MB. I NEED HELP ASAP!

 

EDIT:  I unchecked the "Maximum Memory" Box on the right Shown Here and now everything shoud be fine. Thanks for your help guys

sounds like RAM to me

try re installing your RAM

and or memtest it

What was the error code.

 

It was most likely your memory or the harddrive. 

As suggested by "mdgtman91" reinstalling your RAM and do some test (Memtest) to check the memory.

I could'nt see the error code because it flashed to fast and then rebooted. I found an article that MAY have the fix but I just checking it. It seems to be a value in msconfig got changed so im ATTEMPTING to try and open it while my computer is chugging along. If that ends up not working Ill report back with the memtest results

Can't be a HHD failure otherwise it won't boot.

Memory seems to be the problem. If you have multiple stick try swapping them out one by one.

Check your connections if they are all properly seated. :)

Run programs like memtest, kombustor and prime 95 for at least 12 hours or until you BSOD again. :))
