Hello. I'm just getting into the PC gaming scene and I've just completed my first build. The computer runs fine and I haven't ran into any problems while using it. For example: I recorded about 2 hours of continuous BioShock Infinite gameplay at the highest quality settings for the video and maxed settings for the game using ShadowPlay. It did fine and kept at a stable 60fps.

The problem is: I decided to do the Prime95 test and in a matter of seconds, the CPU temp skyrockets to 100+ C (in CPU-Z) and gives me the BSOD. Other than bringing the RAM to 1600MHZ, everything else stock and isn't overlocked in anyway. (Except stock overlock from manufacturer for video cards.) I'm not sure what it could be and any help in getting to the bottom of this is greatly appreciated. I probably spent a lot more than I should have on this build, so I don't want it to die suddenly.

Part List:
CPU: Core i7 4790k

RAM: 16GB (2x8) Corsair Dominator Platinum 1600MHZ CL7

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i (Replaced stock fans with Noctua)

GPU: (2x) Asus 780 Ti DirectCU II OC

Case: NZXT H440 (Replaced all stock fans with Noctua fans)

Mobo: Asus Maximus VII Hero

Edit:
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P2

I would try remounting the cooler and reapplying thermal paste
