I recently bought a refurbished pre-built and it was running great. I decided to take out some RAM (Don't ask), which involved taking out the GPU to get to the RAM and replacing the GPU. Ever since the computer has been running very slowly. I think I found the problem. The board's link width is stuck at x2 instead of x16. Any ideas? Any information besides supplied I can get, just ask.

I don't have the RAM anymore but I don't see how the RAM could be affecting it. Will try a BIOS reset.

I don't see how either, but since that was the trigger for the issue the first thing to do would be to try and recreate previous conditions.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
