Computer Upgrades?

ShiftZERO
Go to solution Solved by CowsGoRoar,

That's a pretty decent rig. The second gen CPU's use triple channel RAM? Then going to 12 won't be such a good idea. The only thing I would upgrade is graphics card. GTX 760/R9 280(X). After that, keep the extra money, save more and upgrade the CPU+mobo.

This is my first post so please bear with me if I've done something wrong...

I've been thinking of upgrading my gaming pc for awhile now but with a limited budget...

Motherboard: Gigabye GA H67MA-D2H-B3
CPU: i7 2600
GPU: Radeon HD 6950

RAM: 6gig

Power Supply: Corsair GS600

w/ Mid Tower Case & SSD

I will be upgrading all the hardware but i would like to know which one will be best to upgrade first.

I normally have a dual monitor setup and multi-task while playing games. I would also like to use Photoshop or some video editing software while playing games in the future.

Budget: ~USD$500

Location: USA
