Do you need any storage ?

1. Budget & Location - £1300 - Belgium (But using UK prices as partpicker isnt showing alot of parts for EU)

2. Aim - Gaming (Star Citizen is the goal)
3. Monitor - 1 @1080p
4. Peripherals - Yes but future purchases (HOTASS etc...) I will require alot of connectivity
5. Our machines are 5 years old, we treat them well and they have never let us down... until recently. New rigs are a must for future gaming.

Note: This build is for 3 identical machines, with a few minor exceptions. We will be re-using one case from the original machine (NZXT Phantom) and re-using some storage, essentially though this 'single' list will be the template for all 3 rigs.

This is the current setup im aiming for, though its been a long while since ive done a new build. Please feel free to criticise any of the choices!

A 500w PSU is plenty, and you don't need a high end motherboard to play games, a simple $100-200 one will work more than fine.

If you want red/black, the hero is a better option IMO.

Swap the board for something cheaper such as the Z97-AR and invest that extra money into a R9 290 or a GTX780.

Star citizen is mantle right? Would make more sense with 290 or even 290x.

Why the Primo case ? That is way over the top for a H100i cooler. Swap it for the Enthoo Pro.

Change the psu to the EVGA Supernova G2 750W.

@lee32uk I personally want the Enthoo Primo for the looks + dust filtering capabilites,

and no we currently have 840 Evo Pros on our old machines and will re-use them with the plan of adding a few WD Reds in the future.

The Enthoo Pro has dust filters on all the intakes. The Primo is more suited to a custom loop rather than a AIO cooler.
