AMD fx 6300 first build

hi , this is my first thread here and my first build , i will use the AMD fx 6300 , and the ASUS M5A78L-M LX3 , and MSI or Gigabyte R7 260x !

i was thinking , is it a good choose for money ? and will i be able to listen to songs while playing bf 4 ? thanks in advance

Why that particular motherboard? It seems fine but only has 2 ram slots. Overall seems like a decent build though i personally might go with a different motherboard, maybe something like this. Could you get a r7 265 for a good price where you live?

i live in russia , the mother board u suggested is almost + 40 $ , is it worth it ? plus , they are not the same models , the models avilable is :MSI 760GA-P43 (FX) -MSI 970A-G46

and they are way more expinsive :v

I havent owned an fx cpu so i cant say for certain but i believe for fx cpu's that the 970 and up chipsets are recommended.It all comes down to features and pricing/availability. If you dont need usb 3, if youre fine with just 2 ram slots, things like that. Audio and such should be very similar between all the motherboards in a similar budget.

Again someone else with more experience should comment on this, wish i could help more but dont want to give you bad information.

thank u , i really don't need 4 ram slots , i am fine with 2 , i will use a head set for the audio so i also don't need anything fancy , i also don't need a usb 3.0 slot , so i think i will buy this motherboard

the board in the first post is ok for the FX6300

 

but because the VRMs dont have cooling

 

OC is a no no for the FX CPU
