Hi guys,

So i was looking at some full tower cases for my new build but i cant decide between 750d and 760t .

The 750d has the front airflow restriction due to the front panel cover which if you remove makes the case pretty much ugly not to mention if you put a DVD drive basically makes you wanna shoot yourself .

But on the other hand the 760t doesnt have these problems but it has that shitty top cover which also restricts the airflow as i was planning on making the top exhaust with the h100i and also it is so wabbly that i feel like its gonna break if i handle it a bit rough.

Dust and airflow are a big issue for me but mainly airflow as i can clean the dust from time to time. I was also looking at the Cooler master but i dont like the look of it and i'd like to get a clean case.

so what do you guys suggest?

@Silverlance Our super Mod @airdeano has suggest a pretty wicked case for you & I second it.

Other suggestions the 450D, 330R from Corsair, some individuals like the H440 I don't like it but it's a pretty recommended case.

Please become a member of the Linus Tech Tips forum, keep writing smug remarks & let us love you. Peace out.

I am looking for a full tower case . i did initially look at the h440 and again its a mid tower so decided not to go for it.

I prefer a case with good airflow  and room for future expansion.

I kept reading that the material used for corsair cases are not that good... I saw that the 760t , the case itself is really wabbly ? so any comments on it durability cause that was my next choice apart from the 750d but again i prefer something which is durable . I did see a couple of cooler master but am not really a fan of the side window fans , would prefer a plain window

the 760T is a 750D chassis with different plastic cladding, higher priced and hinged panel doors.

I thought the same exact thing.

I wanted a case with good airflow and room for future expansion.

Expect that in reality after I bought the case I replaced the Motherboard and Processor with a same sized motorboard. I replaced the powersupply when mine died with another powersupply of the same

size.

Are you planning on having more than 2 graphics cards? Maybe a sound/raid card? A mid-tower case can solve that easily. You'll be able to save a lot now, and then spend it on better parts later.

As for airflow get static pressure optimized fans if you're in a midtower and have a pretty compact computer. That will help you a lot with airflow. I suggest either noctua, or the corsair sp120/sp140.

You'll probably get a full tower and say "Well shit, I just spend $200+ on this, and now I have TOO much room."

I had a computer.. and then I let FedEx ship it.

Well i am a bit concerned that since its plastic it might end up getting damaged due to rough use.

Well am spending close to 1500-2000$ on just the parts so a 750d case wont make much difference . Also i do plan to do a dual GTX 780 or 780ti . I dont mind the case being a little empty rather than everything cramped up in a Mid tower. And the 750d is kinda ok interms or price since its below 200$.

I was planning of putting 2 SP120 or 140 on the front since the front panel suffocates the front fans if i get hte 750d

I don't know. I feel like in general full tower cases are rip-offs. Unless you're having a LOT of harddrives, optical drives, or are doing a custom watercooling loop. You really don't need it. Get a case that can fit an ATX and long graphic cards. (Like the H440) add Static pressure optimized fans. You'll get great cooling, and the case won't take up so much space. Plus the thing about the H440 that I like is that it is a quiet pc case. Completely up to you.. You're the only one that can make the decision to buy what.

In a mid-tower your parts won't be cramped, but the case will be used.

Watch that and pretend there is 1 more card underneath it.

I had a computer.. and then I let FedEx ship it.
