So I know there are lot of people posting WHS Nas builds, but I just want to get some critique's on my configuration for a WHS Nas build.

Spec

Case-------   LIAN LI PC-Q25B

PSU-------   Antec EarthWatts Green EA-380D Green 380W

MB--------   ASUS P8H77-I

CPU-------   Intel Core i3-3220 or Intel Pentium G2020

Memory---  G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB DDR3 1600 or G.SKILL 4GB DDR3 1333 

OS HDD--  SAMSUNG 840 Series 120GB

Raid HDD- 4x  WD 3tb Red or Green 

OS---------- WHS 2011

I would spend less on the case, get any cheaper atx motherboard with sata 6gb/s, and get a good seasonic 300w psu.

I'm not too sure about the ssd. Do you really need one for a Nas? You could spend your money elsewhere...

Thanks for the input WM. im also trying to stay on the low wattage side that's why I want to get an ssd. I really want an itx format mb since I already got the case. For the mb this is the only one that I found with 6 Sata ports.

For a build without a gpu, you can easily support a 6 7200rpm drive nas with a good 250-300w. The ea380 is good but if you can get a seasonic 300w for cheaper, go for it. 

As for your motherboard, good choice.

You could probably go with a smaller ssd if you're still getting one. I'm not sure if you can go down to a 32gb ssd but 66/64 should be fine?

As for the ram, just get the cheapest CL9 1600 ram you can get. Ram is ram.
