I started a custom water cooling loop, and had no problem intell i up graded my cpu to fx 9370. My load temps are well over what i want them to be at 70% load im at 51c. I havent gone any higher cuz the max temp on my cpu is 61c.

This is how i have it set up res, pump(Alphacool VPP655 Variable Speed Pump - HF Top Edition )gpu ( 760 with full water block) to 45x 240 rad with 2 push fan , to cpu (AMD fx 9370 220w with XSPC RayStorm CPU/APU Water Block (AMD) w/ LED to 45x 360 rad with 3 push and 2 pull fans, and back to res.

I have tryed to reset the water block for the cpu thinking it wasent sitting right with new thermal paste. I i know i have no air in the system. I know that the cpu runs hot but with this set up i dont think i should have a problem cooling.

Any one have any ideals on any thing i  can try?

@kri6666

welcome to the Linus Tech Tips forums!

be careful on which temperature sensor your values are taken from.

*"Core Temp" is what AMD refers to as "TCTL" and is a non-physical temperature

on an arbitrary scale measured in degrees. It does not represent an actual

physical temperature like die or case temperature. this is what the "MAX Temp"

a lot of users are referring to. depending on what software app you are using,

that could be labeled anything (as AMD sensors are not standardized within the

app)

*"CPU Temp" is read by a sensor in the socket of the motherboard. It is a physical

temperature and therefore will be affected by ambient temps inside the case.

different applications can/will have different values. generally the FX-9350 idle is

ambient + 8-10° (in stock config) and can reach 50°+ under load. under load are

your radiators hot to the touch? fan speed is 100%? 50%?
