WiFi and Ethernet

Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

You can have dual network redundancy but you can't use both at the same time.

Why would you want to use wifi anyway if you have ethernet? ethernet is much faster and more reliable.

Hello everybody I wanted to ask is there to connect to Ethernet and WiFi simultaneously I have a Ethernet connected to my connection and WiFi connected to neighbor connection no I didn't hack his connection after I fix his PC I asked him for his WiFi connection and he gave it to me I am running Windows 8.1 is anyway this could happen.

I am using a Lenovo G580.

sorry for my bad English   .

my Ethernet connection is only 8 Mb down and 1 Mb up so yeah and he has the same connection so if I used both my internet speed will be better.

Ah no you can't stack internet connections to get more speed (afaik). You can only have redundancy which means that if one goes down the other will continue working.

It does not work like that.

Yea you can do it. But you need special hardware then you connect to that with one connection

can you give me an example
