1. Budget & Location

I am from Portugal and my budget is about 900/1000€ i want to save as much as i can but still getting a great PC for atleast 4 years if there is a better and less expensive build i would love to know :P

2. Aim

Hey guys I am thinking about upgrading my gaming , editing PC. This is what i have in mind:

Motherboard: Asus Maximus VII Hero Intel Z97 SK1150

              CPU: Intel Core I7-4790K 4.0GHz (4.4GHz Turbo) 8MB BOX

GPU: Asus Geforce GTX780 DirectCU II OC 3GB DDR5 PCI-E or Gigabyte GTX770 WindForce OC 4GB GDDR5 PCI-E ( I don't know wich one i should buy considering that future games will use alot of VRAM )

Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP Blue 2x4096MB DDR3 1600Mhz 1.50V ( I already have this item, but i am hoping to buy another pack to get 16gb )

               PSU: Aerocool V12XT-700 80Plus Bronze ( Already own )

Case: NZXT Lexa S ATX ( Already Own )

Monitor: Asus VH226H full HD 1080p ( Already Own )

Sound - Card: Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Titanium Bulk ( Already Own ) ( Quite old i know )

3. Monitors

I plan to have atleast two 1080p monitors.

4. Peripherals

I plan on buying Razer BlackWidow Tournament Edition ( i go to Lan Parties )  + Razer Deathadder 2013, cause by Razer Arctosa is quite messed up ( when i press 'n' it wrties n67...) and my Razer Deathadder 1800dpi left 'trigger' i have to press way to hard to get a click. They are both from 2009 ( quite old i know ).

5. Why are you upgrading?

I am upgrading cause the Setup i have is from 2009 or older when COD2 and COD4 were one of the biggest competitive games out there.

 Motherboard: Asus p7p55 LX
CPU: intel core i3 3.02 Ghz

              GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 1GB gddr5

         Memory: Corsair Vengeance LP Blue 2x4096MB DDR3 1600Mhz 1.50V

               PSU: Aerocool V12XT-700 80Plus Bronze

             Case: NZXT Lexa S

Monitor: Asus VH226H full HD 1080p

Sound - Card: Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Titanium Bulk ( Already Own ) ( Quite Old too )

Final Thoughts.

I am worried that this build won't last longer due to the fact of the upcomming X99 Chipset, DDR4 RAM and Haswell-E Processors, But I believe that when those items come to the consumer market they will have high price tags...
And what about the Peripherals you think those are worth the money ? , I go to Lan Parties sometimes \m/

All i want to know is if this build will last atleast 4/5 years?

thanks,
John

Why you choose that GPU instead of the 780? Isn't the 780 better for 3d rendering and editing due to the CUDA? And the upcomming games, The Division, Battlefield etc they all nvidia games

cuda can be needed but the 290 still goes up against it in stuff like adobe. also if you look around on bf4 you will see that its partnered with amd but honestly the only series of games that do better with nvidia are the elder scrolls games
