Quick pc building tips

Jebonia

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, I didn't see it while browsing the tread

but one of the most important things before doing anything regarding your components
is to ground yourself!, anything from keeping one foot on a piece of metal on the bottom

of your computer desk and touching the power supply before beginning or getting yourself

a grounding strap and grounding yourself that way!, either way just ground yourself so

you don't ruin your computer with static.

Don't build your pc on an anti static bag, it's electrically conductive.

A notable point (I never knew this!)

Don't worry. You are not alone. A lot of people make that mistake.

When buying consider future upgrades. This would be researching your components to see possible upgrade possibilities and if the technology will be replaced by a new standard. Also consider upgrades when building by running an extra sata cables for added drives and if you plan to upgrade to a more powerful graphics card use 6+2 power cables.

Filtered air intakes and positive case pressure means less need for opening the case and cleaning.
