Yes, it will just need a bios update

It'll need a BIOS update and won't have full overclocking support, but yes it will.

you'll need a cpu that works without the update. 

Unless of course the board has a usb-flashable bios--which a cheaper board more than likely wouldn't have. 

 

If you're looking for a cheap board, and haven't bought one yet, I'd get the ASrock z97 Anniversary

oh i see, well there is not point in getting that cpu then, better off geting an apu or someshit.

if you can get someone with a 1150 CPU that could lend it to you, it's worth it. But yeah, paying $100+ on a mobo for that CPU is not worth it.

rofl where can i find someone in here, no body here builds pcs at least not near me, well the cheapest H97 Motherboard here is like 170$ or something.....
