How can I boot from USB on an iMac g4 with USB 1.1?

Go on EBAY and buy an old USB 1.1 flashdrive, load up an OS on it, take out imac g4s normal hard drive, and voila, that's how I would do it.

Ah you have to take out HD, and has to be an old flash drive?

THat's my guess and what I would do.

But arent flashdrives backwards compatible though? Idk.

Possibly. Tho I could imagine the os being slow on 1.1
