Hi everybody!

I'm planning to upgrade my pc. Should I get another R9 270X (239€)or maybe sell my current one and get like a R9 290 (418€)? And should I upgrade my CPU to a FX-8320 or overclock the FX-6300?

Also i'm upgrading the CPU cooler (Arctic cooling freezer 7 pro rev 2 --> Cooler master hyper 212 EVO) and my PSU (Silverstone Strider Essential 500W --> Corsair CX 600M). Is the new cooler able to keep the FX-6300 in reasonable temps when overclocking? (The Arctic cooling one hasn't been)

You can see the other specs at my sig

I would get a 290 and get an FX8350.

That cpu cooler upgrade isn't much, go an D14 or go liquid like H80i/H100i

Get a decent 650w psu.

PC: Corsair C70 Arctic, FX 9370, Corsair H80i, Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3, Corsair Vengence 16gb, Palit JetStream GTX 970, OCZ Vertex 4 128gb and Western Digital Blue 1Tb + 500gb, Antec Gamer 520w

Peripherals: Logitech G19 and SteelSeries Sensei RAW

Toshiba L50-A: i7 4700mq, 8gb, 1TB HDD, GT 740M 2gb

question

what mobo are you using?

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Thanks for the tip!

The FX-8350, x31 (for the CAM software), Cooler Master G650M and Msi radeon R9 290 Gaming would cost 755 € (1014$) minus the value of the r9 270X. If I saved money for that, it would take years :D

should be ok but be careful with OC

4+2 power phase is just ok for the 8 Core

I will take a 8320 thou

take this fan cooler for the CPU

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rrgmm416pkr2

it wide so it can cool the VRMs too

pick a single gpu like the 290

I'm not planning to overclock the 8320/8350 and I think that i'll get a D14. But what is the ''best bang for the buck'' r9 290?
