You could try re seating all the components, using one stick of ram to start. Also try something other than a TV.

Oh sorry forgot to mention a couple things, this a new pc with a version of ubuntu running on the drive, and how would i go about resetting components?

Reseating, you just remove the components and place them again.

It should work with out a graphics card. You can try removing the cmos battery,  and turn on the system. before you remove it, disconnect the PSU from the wall.

Its possible, Try just one stick of ram, if it still doesn't boot, go through all the modules.

ok for times sake lets just say everything works, could it just not be powerful enough to make anything appear on a kinda huge display? I mean my laptop has no problem but it also has a graphics card. So could it just not be powerful enough?

That would not be the case. If it worked it would display as the laptop does. If you can try swapping the psu.

AMD builds have bad compatibility with Linux (from experience... Haven't been able to run my own build on Mint 17)... That might be the problem... I'm not sure how to fix it but you can try asking around in the Ubuntu forums...

Do you have another working ram just laying around? Never hurt to try those ram... (make sure the "ram just laying around" is working properly before trying it to your new pc).

I think im gonna say mother board, eve though i have no clue about the ram, i have tested the power, and works and then if all else fails im gonna reseat the cpu even though that appears to be working as it is making heat which means at least something is going on on there, all signd poin to the mother board. i find it weird that also non of the usb ports don't work. they supply power but not data is being sent. All signs seems to point to the mobo but thats a bios issue then which is controlled by the bios chip and cpu so this is a very frustrating system to determine.
