What mic should i get?

So im thinking of getting a new mic in the coming days, maybe sooner, so my first thoughts went directly to a Blue yeti because i dont want it standing on my table, and i dont want more wires and having to put on and remove it all the time with a clip on one.

 

Then i thought, i should look around and see if there is something else worth looking at on the market, but not sure what to search for to find out what would fit me so here i am,

 

Should i get a Blue Yeti, or is there another you think i should get?

 

Use is: Teamspeak while gaming

Budget, tops out at the value of the Blue Yeti unless you come up with a good reason

 

I do quality stuff, so no recommending me some 30$ junk because its "fine" im using a pair of V-Moda Crossfade M-100's im not cheap.. really want to get a second pair of headphones at some point.. those HD650's mmm

For your use case, anything more then a Snowflake is wasteful.

Which is why the Snowflake sits on your monitor, and is better for your use case.

I'm looking for one too.

If you look on ebay there are loads of USB mics which are compatible with desk mounts that range from £20 all the way up to the 1000's.

I bet even the cheapest ones would sound infinitely better than anything attached to a gaming headset.

it can, but its made to be hang aswell, unlike the snowball
