I recently purchased the Razer Kraken 7.1 headset, and I got in a skype call with some friends and played a few video games. The first was Minecraft, which worked fine, but then i started playing BF3 and it doesn't even appear in the Windows Sound Mixer thing. There's no option for selecting my headphones in the audio tab in options in the game, and it really bugs me because I bought 7.1 headphones but I can't hear squat with them on this game, is it a problem with the game?

You'll need to set your speakers as the default output device through windows. Right click on the volume icon in the bottom right of your task bar, and select 'playback devices'.

From there, select whatever device you want to playback on - which in your case would be the kraken.
