M-ATX mobo

Looking to downsize my current rig (ATX). I will later build better rig based on the Broadwell architecture, if the first impressions are good. The plan is to make my current rig into a compact streaming pc, fitting in a couple of capture cards and make Mini ITX not an option. 

 

Which M-ATX board should I buy? I have a i7 4770k so I am considering the Z97 platform. Price is not a problem, but I want a simple and easy to use mobo, with overclocking capabilities and built to last as well as robust.

For the best of the best in the mATX form factor the Maximus VII Gene is the best choice.

The ASUS Gryphon Z97 is a cheaper option which maintains good potential for overclocking but doesn't have quite as good onboard audio or as many "gamer" software/features.

The MSI Z97M Gaming is a good middle ground between the two above options in terms of price and features.
