Dying Hard Drive?

My hard drive is having some problems where I'm doing something on my PC especially gaming then it just crashes and restarts and asks me to boot from a drive..and when I check the BIOS my HDD isn't listed at all..what do you think is up? I've tried 2-3 different cables and ports hoping that it'll fix or something..

does the hard drive spin up or is it just dead?

Are you hearing any sort of unnatural clicking sound or anything coming from the hard drive?

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

The drive still spins up...and I don't hear any clicking whatsoever...so yaaa it's really strange...
